Our client is an international, leading manufacturer of HVAC systems specializing in air-handling equipment, heat recovery exchangers, kitchen hoods, and systems for residential warm-air heating. Due to development on the Danish market, we are now looking for a professional for the role of:
Position: Area Sales Manager/Technical Sales Representative
Place of work: Home office
Area of responsibility: mainly Copenhagen + other Danish cities
Responsibilities:
* Actively developing and stabilizing a client base consisting primarily of designers and installers in ventilation with heat recovery
* Cooperating with HVAC wholesalers, general contractors, architects
* Representing the manufacturer on the given market
* Actively seeking opportunities with subsequent project management
* Searching for more business opportunities and market potential and trends
* Market research, proposal and implementation of sales strategies
* Dealing with after-sales (commissioning, service issues) and related engineering challenges
* Regular reporting
Requirements:
* Engineering or business qualifications an advantage, not a must – the position is mainly sales but with technical product
* A minimum of three years’ experience in sales position required - HVAC sales position a great advantage
* Professional, organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented with a drive to succeed
* Very good English required for communication with HQ
* Knowledge and understanding of the field of HVAC business sector a great advantage
* Drive, independence and great interpersonal skills
* Ability to travel locally
* Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC products and HVAC systems applications.
* Time and place flexibility needed for frequent travelling to head office as well as in-country
* Demonstrated competency in consultative, relationship, listening, and selling skills
