Our client is a leading European company producing furniture hardware. They offer drawer systems, concealed hinges, furniture damping, cabinet connectors. Due to continued development on the local market, we are now looking for an experienced professional for the role of:
Business Developer
Place of work: Home-office
Region of Activity: Poland
Responsibilities:
* Direct sales of furniture hardware to big furniture manufacturers, building the network of potential clients in Poland
* Actively working in the field
* Achieving maximum profitability, growth and account penetration by effectively selling company’s products
* Planning and organizing the market strategy for the assigned components sales area taking into account given priorities and corporate plans
* Pro-active contact identification and relationship building (telephone, e-mail, in-person meetings, trade shows) with existing and prospective customers
* Gaining a full understanding of customers’ needs and explaining them to the company's supporting technical team in the form of clear market strategy, potential value, internal cost commitments
* Developing long terms sales with technical solutions for existing and new products
* Managing current and prospective sales to achieve continuous improvements on return on sales
* Stimulating R&D and Marketing functions to provide innovative customer solutions
* Managing Accounts’ development strategies to maximize share of sales
* Preparing annual and medium term sales plan for sales territories/segments/accounts and reporting progress to superior on a monthly basis
* Closely cooperating with: the Polish team; R&D and Engineering Department at the factory, Marketing Department and Customer Service (outside of Poland)
* Reporting to the Sales Director in Poland
Requirements:
* Experience in a manufacturing company in B2B type of industry/relations
* Experience from furniture hardware or woodworking or furniture industry or volume technical components
* Proven success in sales or in development & engineering in furniture, furniture hardware or technical-manufacturing environment
* Higher education
* Openness to travel in the region
* Advanced in English – must have
* Good personal presentation and communications skills
* Preparation, planning and reporting skills
* Negotiation skills
* Results oriented
* Capable of working independently and in teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Driving license
