They have a modern production facility based in Poland, with current headcount of almost 100 employees. Due to continued growth we are now looking for a dynamic, experienced professional to join the local management team on the position of:

 

Maintenance & Facility Manager

Overall responsibility The Maintenance & Facility Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance team for all internal and external services to ensure the continued development of the maintenance function and provide pro-active professional service on the site.

Responsibilities:

* Daily leadership and motivation for the maintenance team ( 4 persons), 1 shift system.
* Prepare and follow-up on agreed annual cost budget
* Propose improvements and cost reductions
* Identify areas to reduce consumption of energy (gas & electricity)
* Team building: recruiting, employing & dismissal in maintenance team
* Provide appropriate training to maintenance and production team
* Secure preventive maintenance (PM) on site
* Develop and implement ideology of autonomous maintenance at site
* Ensure all maintenance work is recorded for data analysis and completed on time
* Management, development and monitoring of periodic maintenance schedules (PMS) with regular communication on progress to Plant Manager to ensure maintenance activity is organized and structured
* Prioritization, planning and issuing of work duties to the maintenance team
* Reinforcing health & safety standards
* Ensure legal compliance in all maintenance areas
* Secure agreed OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) level on the machine park according to plans.
* All maintenance that influences the production has to be agreed and coordinated with Production Managers.
* Ongoing problem solving and finding solutions
* Process standardisation in line to demands in ISO 9000 and 14000
* Reports to Poland Plant Manager

 

Requirements:

* Engineering background: maintenance, automation, electronics or similar
* 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance management at lean factory level
* Ability to lead a maintenance team, solid people coaching and development skills
* Very good spoken and written English is a must, close cooperation with European headquarters
* Proactive, team player with hands-on approach
* Excellent communication skills with strong business acumen a must
