Due to continued development on the Poland market we are now looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor. The main task is to guarantee the efficient management of local distribution of goods to clients within Poland, across central and western Europe and on the global market.
Logistics & Warehouse Surpervisor
Place of work: pow. Otwocki (woj. mazowieckie)
Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for optimization of the goods flow process in the local distribution/warehouse centers (inventory/transportation/stock control/ warehouse)
- Managing logistics processes, cooperation with external 3PL partners, transport costs optimization
- Ensuring proper distribution of goods to customers in all regions in line with budget, client requirements and delivery conditions
- Responsible for warehouse optimization and improvement processes
- Management of local team
- Working within the local management team and cooperating closely with local management board
- Taking part in strategic operational meetings and decisions
- Executing logistics and warehouse budget plans
- Continuous improvement and optimization of internal warehouse and distribution processes
- Management of SAP process related to logistics and warehouse activities (MM/LO)
- Responsible for ensuring proper health and safety standards at work place
- Overseeing proper operations in warehouse
- Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager
Requirements:
- Higher level education in related discipline such as logistics/transport/production
- 3-5 years practical experience in logistics and warehouse supervision, preferably within an international organization
- Wide knowledge of logistics management and processes
- Experience in working on SAP in production or logistics environment, or similar ERP system
- Very good English is a must
- Open, communicative with strong leadership skills
- Decision making and negotiation skills
