Our client is a global leader in design, development and manufacture of advanced technological transport solutions, conveyor systems, dedicated to assembly, painting and welding lines at car manufacturing sites around the world. Due to continued development we are now looking for an experienced professional for the challenging role of:

Accounting & Tax Manager
Place of work – Radom

 

* Leading team of 12 FTEs, managing accounting department’s daily activities
* Ensure all Accounting and Financial regulations are adhered to
* Allocate budgets and monitor needed economical resources to ensure company’s operations and to support projects requirements
* Prepare tax declarations VAT, CIT, WHT
* Cooperation with finance teams within the Group, other divisions as well as external partners
* Liaise with banks, insurance, fiscal and VAT administration, auditors and solicitors
* Financial controlling and analysis, preparation of monthly reviews for local management and HQ
* Prepare periodic Financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, forecasts, variance analysis
* Guarantee the Accounting and Finance information’s reliability
* Reporting to local government bodies (tax - US, social services - ZUS, statistics offices - GUS, etc.)
* Reconcile balances implementing financial plans
* Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
* Lead, motivate and coach team: recruitment, staff resources allocation, ongoing training and development, compensation and benefits, litigations
* Be part of Management Committee
* Report to local Poland Finance Director, close cooperation with European HQ Finance Team

Requirements:

- Higher education in finance, accounting, tax, economics or related field
- 8 -10 years’ experience in leading an accounting department and team
- Strong background in international financial standards, accounting processes
- Expert in Accounting, Finance and Tax laws
- Strong Business management acumen
- Excellent team leader, strong communication skills, teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure
- Strong business focused resulting in proper financial planning and forecasting, leading to profitable business growth
- Excellent computer skills, ERP knowledge, SAP or similar
- Very good English language skills (both written and spoken) is a must
- Excellent MS Office skills
- High level of responsibility, multi-skilled and good team player
- An analytical and problem-solving mind
- Experience in working within an international environment
