Our client is a leading international manufacturer of premium quality furniture. With over 100 years of market experience, they have become one of the most recognized brands on the global premium furniture market. Due to continued development plans of the production plant in Wielkopolskie, we are looking for a professional to take on the new challenging role of:
Quality & Sustainability Manager
Place of work: Wielkopolskie (production plant)
Responsibilities:
- ensuring products (furniture) delivered from the factory to customers fulfills agreed and defined quality and sustainability requirements and are manufactured according to held, external certification
- being a part of company Management Team, cooperating with Plant Manager and Production Managers in scope of quality, environmental and sustainability policy
- developing quality strategy aligned with overall quality & sustainability company policy
- developing and periodically updating FMEA failure analysis for critical processes and products (both those being in production portfolio already and those being a part of new implementation yearly program)
- reporting on defined quality and sustainability related KPIs (as example: FTT, PPT, CO2 emission, VOC).
- taking initiative to align production site processes with ISO, FSC, PEFC, Green Guard certification.
- being in the role of internal auditor both for internal and external standards
- key role in building organizational culture in scope of quality and sustainability awareness
- developing and maintaining required process discipline and documentation
- preparing and executing agreed cost budget for quality & sustainability team
- reporting directly to Plant Manager, cooperating with Production Managers
Requirements:
- Technical University background – quality and environment profile or similar will be a big advantage
- experience on similar position in production company minimum 5 years (furniture business experience will be an big advantage)
- English – good spoken and written is a must (cooperation with headquarters)
- taking initiative, seeking for solution and problem solving, self-reliant and self-driven,
- analytical, coaching, proactive
- open to work in Wielkopolskie (production plant)
