Our client is an international developer and manager of wind energy projects (full scale management company). Due to the launch of a 48MW wind farm plant in Poland we are now looking for an experienced professional for the role of:
Operation and Maintenance Manager (Wind Farm)
Place of work: Podkarpacie
Project: 48MW wind farm plant in Podkarpackie, 1 GPO with overhead voltage line
Responsibilities:
- Building the supervision plan and maintenance strategy
- Leading all activities during wind farm operation and providing response to trouble shooting
- Understanding MSA (master service agreements) / O&M (operation & maintenance) contracts
· Supervising WTG (wind turbine generator) maintenance team under signed MSA
- Supervising own/subcontracted operators on GPO
- Yearly, periodical frequent testing, checking and overviewing of plan operation
- Building law, manufacturers, other required maintenance or check
- Documentation and records, fill in log books, UDT and other on demand
- Day-to-day wind farm monitoring
- Reporting to URE, PGE/PSE other as required to sell or forecast production
- Spare parts management
- Road and GPO maintenance of civil infrastructure
- Guarantee supervision
- Winter/access provision for WTG manufacturer according MSA
- Reporting to head of technical and board of company
- Develop O&M section for next projects
Requirements:
- Education: Technical M.Sc. or Eng in Electrical or Mechanical
- Experience: proven track record as an Operations & Maintenance Manager on wind farm plant 20MW+ will be a very big advantage
- Skills: SEP E+D, GWO, SCADA software, monitoring system, CCTV/SOT familiar - are not a must but will be a plus
- Good knowledge of English – written and spoken (cooperation with international team)
- Self- motivated
- Very good self-organization
- Open to work on-site in Podkarpacie, where the wind farm plant is located
