For our Client, a leading European manufacturer of high-quality promotional clothing, we are looking for a competent individual for a newly created position, due to dynamic growth of the business entity in Poland.
CHIEF ACCOUNTANT / CFO / MANAGING DIRECTOR
Place of work: Warsaw, office (Cybernetyki, Mokotów)
We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant who will be responsible for independently managing the accounting of a small trading company in Poland, while also serving as the CFO and Managing Director. Reporting and collaboration with the Financial Director at the foreign headquarters.
Responsibilities
Bookkeeping:
- Responsible for the bookkeeping of all the invoices issued and received
- Monitoring of the payables and receivables and focus on the credits overdue
- Posting /Bookkeeping’s of the payments received and executed
- Taking care of the mandatory minutes of the Company (closing of the financial statements exc..)
- Managing all the mandatory monthly and yearly declarations, like VAT, INTRASTAT and TAXES
- Follow up with the Tax Consultant of everything is necessary for the yearly closing of the Financial Statement as per local rules
Finance:
- Control of the treasury and the working capital needs
- Relationship with banks in order to optimize the bank charges
- Monthly reporting to the CFO of the Group with a reporting Pack (the form is provided by the Mother Company)
Overall Management of the Company
- Daily check of the statistics about incoming orders and goods shipped
- Monthly analysis related to the statistics of the sales divided per items, areas and customers with the Commercial Director and the salesmen
- Management of the contracts with suppliers (with the lawyer firm which will be choosen)
- Management of the employees in the Company just from an administrative side whereas the organization of the job for the salesman is provided by the Commercial Director)
- Responsible to the compliance of the Group Policy given by the Mother Company and the Local Policy of the subsidiary
ERP: Stealth and SAP (SAP is the system used just for the accounting/bookkeeping).
Requirements
- Accounting / finance related master degree
- Several years of experience as a Chief Accountant / CFO
- Experience in an international environment
- Strong practical accounting and finance skills, solid knowledge of the Polish accounting regulations
- Advanced English
- Knowledge of SAP will be a strong asset
