Our client is an international manufacturer of floorcoverings for residential and commercial use. Company is a part of a global, leading group in the flooring business. Due to the expansion of the organization we are looking for a professional to take on the new challenging role of Plant Controller in a factory located in Śląskie voivodeship:
PLANT CONTROLLER
Place of work: Śląskie ( production plant located near Katowice and Częstochowa)
Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to manage the controlling processes that are part of the management control cycle of the Business Unit. The primary objective is to support senior management with accurate and timely financial information in order to implement the group’s growth strategy.
Additionally, you will be involved in the continuous improvement of the various processes within the controlling department.
- Actively participate in the monthly closing process for the BU
- Provide, validate and consolidate variance analysis for the product category, anticipating managements evolving needs, with focus on plant controlling for the local plant
- Participate, validate and consolidate the annual budget and standard costs for the product category in close cooperation with all stakeholders
- Participate and validate the monthly rolling forecast process and ensure forecast reliability
- Follow up of key targets in working capital, CAPEX and cash flow
- Aid in improving and implementing processes, procedures and internal controls
- Be the business partner for the product category towards the Group management
- Participate as key user in SAP implementation project
- Take the lead in plant and finance specific projects
- Report directly to local Finance Director and cooperate with Finance Department in the head office
Requirements:
- Master degree with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in an industrial environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: you are able to communicate effectively with stakeholders from various levels and background.
- Strong analytical skills.
- You are a fluent communicator in Polish and English.
- You have advanced knowledge of the main MS Office software
- Knowledge of SAP is a big advantage
