Finance Coordinator (Specialist)
Place of work: Warsaw (Śródmieście), hybrid work
For our Polish subsidiary we are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Specialist to coordinate our financial operations in Poland. The role includes responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring full compliance with both local and international financial regulations. This is a local key role that offers high exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
* Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
* Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes; provide variance analysis and financial insights to leadership.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate audits with external auditors.
* Collaborate with various departments to support financial planning and business decisions
* Be directly involved in financial transactions, reporting
* Implement and improve internal controls and financial systems.
* Provide coordination between Management Team and professional corporate service provider firms.
* Cooperate with local external accounting/tax company and audit firm
* Be the contact person for local banks, develop relations with them
* Report and cooperate with Finance Manager in the headquarters (English)
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* At least 3 years of experience in international accounting or auditing, preferably at one of the internationally known audit or financial advisory firms.
* Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and reporting standards
* Strong knowledge of Polish tax laws and IFRS.
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics).
* Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
* Fluent in English
* Open to work in the office 3 days a week (hybrid work, 2 days home office)
