Our client is a global leader in development of natural food/beverages ingredients for global brands. Due to continued development, we are now looking for a professional to take on the new role of:
Accountant - AR
Place of work: Warsaw
Responsibilities:
* Collect, analyze and summarize accounting information
* Analyze financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
* Oversee accounting operations based on accounting principles
* Develop periodic reports for management
* Help with meeting statutory deadlines for publishing the financial statements
* Support the Finance Manager in the month-end and year-end close processes
* Help with calculating taxes and preparing tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.
* Support in the obligatory reporting to the local authorities (e.g. the Polish National Bank).
* AR collection and dunning processes
* Keep information confidential and secure them with database backups
* Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation
* Work on a daily basis with SAP
* Report to Finance Manager
Requirements:
* University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
* Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
* Very good knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
* Excellent accounting software user
* Strong communication skills
* MS Excel required and database query tools knowledge would be an asset
* Good command of spoken and written English is a must. Other language skills are considered a plus
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Well organized and able to work to deadlines
* Experience from shared service center is an advantage
