For market entry into the Polish market we are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of:
Local Senior Marketing Manager – Workplace Solutions
Place of work – Warsaw
Overall Profile
* With proficiency in developing marketing plans, setting direction, leading its execution and realize results, the Sr Marketing Manager will be a seasoned professional in a B2B trading environment.
* The Sr Marketing Manager will be a strong and experienced marketing expert with a track record of achieving results and driving business through their technical knowledge and experience, whilst being an accomplished networker who is able to liaise internally within the sales and marketing force as well as the support functions.
* Reporting directly into the Country MD with a functional line to the Head of Marketing, Merchandising & Digital, you will network with your peers in the wider organisation across Europe, you will be the face of the local marketing, responsible for updating and presenting to the senior management team on industry trends and insights, developing a local marketing plan with operational actions for the regions, and showing results on the outputs and efficiency of that plan.
* Travel expected monthly between Headquarters and the region - approx. 15-25%
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for development and execution of marketing campaigns to support sales prospection and growth, specific to the local market in the online and offline channels, Support the local sales team with lead creation for example with: Customer Events, Social Media Actions, Outbound Campaigns
* Develop a local operational marketing plan and budget allocation for the appointed customer segments, channels (for example social media) and categories, and, after approval and in line with the European campaign strategy & plan, ensure the implementation
* Liaise closely with other functions like Sales and Category Management to develop yearly contact plans based on local dynamics, seasonality, and client events, as well as customer segmentation and customer profitability
* Realize and show the progress and results of local marketing campaigns and ensure cross-channel campaign integration and alignment and using findings to improve the campaign planning and execution
* Execute according to the brand communication guidelines, selecting the most appropriate customer segments, channels, and categories to build the local brand awareness
* Analyse results and assess all local market related and customer information and feedback as well as sales volume and contribution potential and provide intelligence and recommendations to the European marketing strategy on the effectiveness and results of campaigns
* Consolidate with the central Marketing department which real estate On- & Offline need to get local input/activities, displaying the campaigns omnichannel on all touchpoints
* Responsible for securing local topline revenues and CMF, therefore work closely together with the Central Marketing and Merchandising teams.
* Involvement of Supply Chain, Purchasing & Assortment and Merchandising into local promotional activities.
* Manage external local suppliers and loyalty programmes, developing long lasting and profitable relationships
Requirements:
* Academic degree
* Minimum of 5 years of Marketing management experience in an international, trading environment
* Knowledge and experience of using modern media channels in marketing
* Experienced in leading, managing, developing and recruiting a team
* Experience of creating, delivering and achieving/ exceeding targets and KPIs on a regular basis
* Previous experience in interacting with internal stakeholders at C-Suite and board level on problem solving
* An ability to identify and prioritise workload with strong planning skills
* Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills
* Fluent English is a must. Other languages are an advantage
* Relevant industry experience in solution sales/ supply chain environments within matrix/ blue-chip organisations
* An excellent level of business acumen, with profit & loss reports and financial forecasting exposure
* Knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce.com)
* IT Literate
