For market entry into the Polish market, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of:

General Manager Poland - Workplace Solutions (B2B)
Place of work: Warsaw

Overall Profile:

As General Manager you will be responsible for growing the Polish Market business, particularly by developing the office supplies, furniture and equipment offering for businesses of all sizes, across all sectors. You will pursue the strategy of customer service excellence and drive and develop all commercial and logistics operations to improve efficiency and economic performance.
You are currently a highly engaged Senior Key Account Manager or Sales Manager who is willing and able to take the step towards becoming General Manager. You will oversee the development of the business in Poland, executing an ambitious sales strategy tailored to its’ market with local sales, marketing, and customer service teams.
You will coordinate the overall business of the company with local services and shared services via the European HQ. It is your responsibility to drive an initially small but resolute team of managers and employees, in line with budget targets.

Tasks and responsibilities:

* Set up and extend the position of the company in the B2B (e-commerce) market for office supplies and services with responsibility for Sales, Gross Margin and EBITDA performance
* Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
* Report directly to the Managing Director at European HQ
* Work in close collaboration with the various managers in the region
* Develop large national and key accounts, and international accounts in conjunction with the international sales department
* Develop the service excellence of our group in Customer Services, Sales and Logistics
* Apply the commercial policy and the multi-channel pricing policy (pricing, promotional animation) defined by the Group and guarantee their implementation
* Develop customers and customer loyalty (multi-channel plans, catalogue, web, key accounts, Inside Sales, customer service center)
* Organize the product offering in collaboration with the Product Management Department
* Manage and organize the supply chain: purchasing, stock control, warehousing and distribution
* Negotiate with main local suppliers and providers
* Ensure country (sales) targets and commitments are achieved, contributing to the overall group target
* Ensure customer service targets and commitments are achieved
* Propagate the company’s culture and values, internally and externally
* Propose yearly investment budgets


* Higher education or academic background in Business Administration: commercial/business related
* Excellent business acumen with P&L and financial forecasting competency
* Track record in sales within workplace solutions, office supplies, furniture, office equipment products (omnichannel, e-commerce, B2B, multichannel) in various industry sectors
* Experience in managing a varied sales team with the ability to evidence successful coaching and development through identifying individual strengths and motivation
* Experience in creating, delivering and achieving/exceeding targets and KPIs on a regular basis
* Proven experience in interacting with customers at board level on contract negotiations, problem solving and conflict resolution
* Fluent English is required
* Available to travel – as required
* Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills
* A dynamic decision maker, self-committed and with capacity to analyze and synthesize
* Lead by example, and ensure that individuals and groups are committed to the strategy, plans, goals and policies of the company
