Our client is a world-leading provider of industrial solutions - serves customers in plants, construction and offshore applications around the world with rental of compressed air, power, nitrogen and steam. We are now looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of:

Rental Operations Manager Region Central

Region: Poland, Germany, Romania and the Czech Republic

Key role: responsible for managing, coaching and assisting a motivated team including Service Technicians and Rental Desk Coordinators.


* Pro-actively manage and coach the local Service and Rental Desk teams in the region
* Support the rental contract handling and fleet planning process and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are in place and operational targets are met
* Daily plan and follow up service jobs at customer sites in cooperation with the sales team
* Optimize maintenance and repairs of rental fleet according to prescribed processes
* Organize the operations (logistics, contract handling, service, fleet planning,…) in the region to achieve optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction
* Support all functions of the business to work together and periodically organize regional team meetings
* Provide technical support to technicians in the region (internal-external, domestic and foreign) and ensure all of the team members receive the required training, coaching and development
* Follow up on ISO procedures
* Participate in European Service and Rental desk meetings
* Manage and follow up outsourced service jobs
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge
* Develop local and regional depot infrastructure and service tools
* Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures
* Maintain and improve teams’ work environment (safe, clean, quality, etc. )
* Proactive stock management of service parts and tools (inventory, certification, etc.)
* Reporting to the Business Line Manager Region Central


* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Management or similar
* Demonstrated experience in Service or Operations Management
* Knowledge of the AC compressors & gas purification products & generators will be a big advantage
* Strong computer literacy
* Experience with an ERP system is a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Fluent in English and Polish is required; any other language will be considered as a plus

* Strong organizational and project management skills with a focus on managing teams remotely, with respect for cultural differences
* Willing to travel regularly within the Region and occasionally to the HQ
* Thrive in a 24/7 work environment where flexibility is crucial in doing business
* Ability to manage operational stress and work calmly under pressure
* High level of professionalism, autonomy and work ethics
* Ability to work in teams and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
