Our client is an European international provider of packaging supplies and equipment, office supplies and furniture, handling and storage equipment, janitorial and sanitary products. Due to continued development on the local market, we are now looking for a professional for the new role of:
HR and Payroll Specialist
Place of work: Warsaw
Main Objective: HR business partner to oversee all human resources operations and ensure they’re aligned with our business goals
Responsibilities:
* Consult with line management and provide daily HR guidance
* Responsible for payroll activities, analyse total reward trends and metrics
* Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
* Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
* Resolve employee relations issues and address grievances - being the escalation point for all HR admin and payroll related queries
* Manage the on-boarding administration
* Provide HR policy guidance
* Identify training needs for teams and individuals, evaluate training programs
* Lead recruiting activities
* Maintain and document all payroll records
* Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns
* Preparing payroll reports
* Responsible for PFRON, ZUS and PIT declarations
* Private health insurance administration
* Support ad hoc HR projects
* Contribute to the establishment of the salary budget
* Report to Finance and Administration Manager
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years’ of proven professional experience in a similar administrative support role in an international organization
* Higher education in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration or other related discipline
* Excellent knowledge of the local Polish labor code
* Strong Microsoft Office skills required
* Good English is a must
* Knowledge of Enova system will be additional advantage
* Track record in a HR function focused on business objectives, career development, training
* Must have a passion for HR and be dedicated to carving out a successful career in this field
* Focused on objectives by proper planning and organization
* Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with all colleagues
* Able to multi-task a number of activities and work within minimum supervision
* Team orientated and results focused
* Initiative and enthusiasm with a “can-do” attitude
