For our Client, an international manufacturing company owned by a Scandinavian group, due to intensive growth and investments in a production facility located near Warsaw, we are looking for a competent individual for the position of:
Financial Business Controller
Place of work: production facility located in Mazowieckie + home office
Purpose of position:
The Group is in an active international growth phase and strengthening its commercial presence in Poland. The company operates a production facility located near Warsaw. Has ambitious plans for continued international growth and identified a key strategic priority for launching a new ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central). To drive this transformation, we are now seeking a Business Controller who will play a central and operational key role in developing financial management, reporting, and decision support in Poland. The role is both hands-on and strategic. Business Controller will be leading the implementation of the ERP system with the support from HQ & consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Actively leading and supporting the ERP implementation project (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong advantage)
- Developing management reporting, AI tools, KPIs and decision support solutions
- Leveraging modern analytical and AI-based tools to enhance reporting, automate processes and generate deeper business insights
- Developing management accounting, project cost calculation and performance monitoring models
- Ensuring a clear direction and roadmap for financial systems and data models
- Developing and structuring transparency through BI reporting, production KPIs, and decision-support tools
- Preparing financial analyses and strategic recommendations for local and global management
- Managing and optimizing cash flow and liquidity
- Owning the monthly closing process
- Working closely with production and other business units
- Monthly performance follow-up, forecasting, and business partnering
- Cooperating with the Managing Director in Poland and Group CFO from HQ
Requirements:
- University degree in finance, accounting or a related field is a strong advantage
- Several years of experience in a Business Controller, Financial Controller role, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience in ERP implementation projects or large-scale system transformations is a strong advantage
- Good knowledge of AI/BI tools, reporting development, and data-driven management
- Strong skills in management accounting, financial analysis and cost calculation
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and performance monitoring in cooperation with the business
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
- Analytical, structured and self-driven working style
- Proactive change agent with solid business understanding
- Very good communication skills in English and ability to cooperate with various stakeholders (is a must)
- Ability to make decisions and recommendations based on data and a holistic view
- High level of IT literacy and strong interest in digital development
