For our Client, global premium brand, manufacturer of high quality home appliances, due to the continued dynamic growth, we are looking for a competent individual for the position of:
Accounting Manager CEE
Place of work: Warsaw. Office + home office (hybrid)
Purpose of position:
The Accounting Manager CEE ensures financial governance, legal compliance as well as prudent application of accounting principles of the company in the CEE Cluster. Coordination and accountability for prudent application of local GAAPs, local year-end closing, local tax regulations. Cluster process harmonization and automation of finance processes under the functional guidance of the Accounting Director. Prudent cash and liquidity management of the Cluster.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for month-end and year-end closing of Group P&L as well as statutory P&L, balance sheet and cash flow in the CEE Cluster
- Being responsible for monitoring tax and transfer pricing compliance with the regulations and measures in accordance with the cross-company matrix guidelines (including annexes and accompanying documents)
- Coordination of Financial Statements audit across CEE markets
- Building relationship with external Accounting Partners, establishing close cooperation and overseeing service delivery (inc. Process harmonization and KPI’s monitoring)
- Leadership of cluster accounting team (including Credit Management function)
- Cooperation with the Shared Service in Poland responsible for transactions in the Cluster
- Responsibility of all taxation (including transfer pricing and monitoring compliance topics in connection with the Cross-Company Matrix Policy and legal topics for the cluster) and all (financial/administrative) legal topics for the cluster (e.g. local compliance, local authority regulations)
- Compliance ambassador role for Cluster under the guidance of Vice President Compliance
- Ensures internal and external accounting compliance and financial/fiduciary separation of duties
- Local process optimization under the functional guidance of the Accounting Director
- Support of global and regional projects
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in an similar accounting / finance position, preferably in an international environment
- Master degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance
- Good business acumen & commercial mindset
- Initial experience in a multi-national, multi-location and multi-lingual role
- Experience in working in matrix structures
- Advanced written and oral communication in English
